Jackie Appiah Wows Her Fans With Stunning Pictures of Herself and George Weah

Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah, has warmed hearts on social media with a picture of herself and President George Oppong Weah in Liberia as she took the trip to witness the swearing-in ceremony of the new president.

The actress who was spotted being swamped by many of her Liberian fans took to her Instagram account and shared the lovely picture of herself with the former football star with the caption, “Congratulations to His Excellency George Oppong Weah, You are a great person and I know you will do great things in Liberia. So happy for you bro. Africa loves you.”

The Ghanaian actress was full of smiles and admiration for her ‘brother’ George Weah who won the elections after a run-off was held on December 26 last year.

He run against Joseph Boa  kai who was the then vice president to Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. The actress is known in the African country as “Ciara” a character she played in the movie, “The President’s Daughter”.

Jackie Appiah together with some Ghanaian celebrities including John Dumelo, Van Vicker, Samira Yakubu, Fred Nuamah, Akosua Puni and Confidence Haugen flew to Liberia to witness the swearing-in ceremony of the new president.

Apart from the celebrities, current and former statesmen and women in Ghana including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Dramani Mahama, Asiedu Nketiah and Fiifi Kwetey were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

Jackie Appiah is considered as one of the richest female actresses in the Ghanaian movie industry, having starred in over a 100 movies.

She shot to fame in the world of acting when she played a role in “Things We Do For Love” in which she starred alongside Adjetey Anang and Vincent McCauley.  Source: Pocket News
